Send us a message or give us a call letting us know a bit about yourself
One of our psychologists will receive your message and will promptly call or email you back to set up a time to speak on the phone or to set up a time to meet (whatever you prefer)
We'll walk you through what to expect in therapy if it's your first time
In our first meetings we'll talk about what you want help with and we'll develop some goals and a plan for how we will help you achieve your goals
What's online therapy?
The structure, format, and content of online therapy is the same as an in person therapy. However, an online therapy session takes place via an online video call with your psychologist instead of in a physical office.
Of course, there are some differences between online and in person therapy. Most notably: You are meeting your psychologist via a video call rather than in a physical office. This means your psychologist is not in the same room as you, you do not go to their office, the session happens via an online videoconferencing platform, and you need to have access to a private space to have your session.
If you would like more information on the pros and cons of online vs. in person therapy please let us know!

How long does therapy usually last?
The "ideal" duration of therapy varies depending on a) the severity and complexity of your difficulties, b) your goals, and c) how much you practice what you learn in therapy outside of therapy
CBT (one of the shorter types of therapy) is usually a minimum of 5 - 20 sessions
Other therapies can last 6 months to a year or more
Although shorter term therapy (e.g., 5 - 10 sessions) might not be ideal in your situation, it might still be helpful because it can:
Help you understand what maintains your problems
Help you learn strategies to manage your problems that you can continue to use beyond the end of therapy
There's not really a simple answer to this question. The best way to figure it out is to call us and ask or come to therapy, discuss your difficulties and your goals, and try a few sessions to get a gauge on your rate of improvement.
Can you prescribe medication?
We can't prescribe medication. If you think you need medication please consult with your GP or a psychiatrist
